Feel the Burn |
|||
It was a lot of work, keeping a feminine figure nice and feminine. Elizabeth put a lot of work into hers, making sure to get in her jogging every single day, without fail. She prided herself on her looks, a dark haired beauty by all accounts. Though she kept it short, it worked quite well for her, and her matching dark eyes smoldered. Her toned, slim body was the real finisher though, inviting curves in all the right places and sinuously slender everywhere else. If the boys knew all the crap she had to go through to maintain it, they would appreciate it all the more. She was stuck in her stuffy studio apartment, sweat sliding over her brow, shoulders and chest, running in place on her new treadmill. Usually, she loved running outdoors, and Central Park was the best. She’d made it a habit to run down its trails every morning, just before the sun was set to rise, in preparation for a day at work. She’d always heard it was dangerous, but there’d never been any trouble. At least until that morning, about a month ago. The trouble hadn’t come in the form of people, but rather an enormous dog. It had chased her relentlessly, savaged her leg, and the only reason she was still here today was that a police officer had happened by and chased the thing away with his gun. She’d gotten to watch the sun rise from a hospital bed while her leg throbbed with pain. The memory still made her shiver. The bite on her leg had only recently fully healed, leaving her with just a minor scar. Needless to say, Elizabeth didn’t jog in Central Park anymore, instead taking her runs in the evenings on the treadmill she’d had to buy just to feel safe while exercising. That would have been fine, really, if it weren’t for the fact that it had been so horribly stifling lately! Her treadmill faced one of her large windows, and she’d thrown it open in the vain hope of catching a stray breeze to cool her flushed skin. No such luck; her black sports bra and tight spandex jogging shorts were practically soaked through with sweat, the tight garments sticking uncomfortably to her womanly curves. She gasped and panted, boiling in her own home. The stupid air conditioner was on the fritz. Of course; the one time you most needed them, these things always broke. The boys had damn well better appreciate all of this! The only solace she had from burning alive and the dark memory of her mauling was watching the sunset through her window. Every night now, she’d gotten to watch the sun go down in a beautiful blaze of glory. Even with the oppressive heat, it was an enjoyable nightly ritual. Some people might have preferred to run on their treadmills in front of a T.V., but she had a soft spot for this sort of simple beauty. As the sky darkened, she was content to watch it, and to watch the stars and moon come out. The moon itself was another simple beauty, full and fat tonight, fading into existence as the glare from the sun disappeared, revealing it to her. Was the room growing more stifling? Though the sun was down and the moon was shining on her, it seemed like it was getting hotter by the second. Panting, she wiped more sweat from her forehead. “…God… damn…” She gasped, perspiration soaking her top and sliding down her face, neck and her flat stomach. Shouldn’t the night air have been starting to cool off by now? She was getting a mind to stop her workout when a sudden pain lanced through her gut. “Ah!” She yelped, stumbling at the sudden cramp, her legs tangling together as she tumbled from her treadmill. She landed unceremoniously on her back, lying there for a moment as she tried to regain her breath. It was no use; if anything, her panting became heavier, chest heaving with every breath she took, her heart pounding as though it meant to rip its way out of her chest. She leaned her head back, gasping helplessly, her short hair drenched and her entire body slightly flushed with heat. Her sports bra was practically a second skin, uncomfortably wet and sticking to her breasts and back, the maddening heat quickly growing too much. “Hah… Hah… I’ve been… working too hard…” She said breathlessly, and indeed her muscles were beginning to clench and burn. That… that had to be it. She’d just overdone her workout, and needed a moment to rest… But the heat was too much, and it and the sweat was making her tight workout clothes unbearable even as the cramps assaulting her were making her tolerance for them very low. Standing up using the wall and a great deal of effort, she let out a low groan that ended in what was almost a growl, reaching down and peeling her sports bra from her sinuous body. Her round breasts bounced free as the clinging material released them, and though it provided her some comfort from the heat, they were almost immediately covered in sweat again. She pressed them and her cheek against the cool wall with a soft moan, squeezing her eyes shut as moisture rolled down the slender lines of her back. Oh god, it felt like her body should have been giving off steam! Kicking off her shoes, she slid her running shorts down as well, but even as she pressed almost desperately against the wall, fully nude, the heat only grew, and her breath never came to her. Something was wrong. Something was horribly, horribly wrong. Moonlight was invading her dim apartment, and her willowy body began to tremble and shake as the cramps grew in intensity. She pulled away from the wall, sudden fear gripping her, as though her body understood what was about to happen even though her conscious didn’t. “A-a shower… A cool shower… That’ll fix me…” She tried to convince herself softly. “I just need a… a… Aaaaaaa…” She let out a low, prolonged moan, her toned stomach suddenly twisting and clenching. The pain was intense, her lithe body shedding drops of sweat as it shuddered uncontrollably, long legs buckling as she fell to her knees. Just as she was wondering if it would ever end, the pains faded, leaving her on her knees gasping for air, shaking in the aftermath. “W-wha… What… No… Noooo…” She could feel the cramps building again, her body pitching forward to all fours as her innards twisted once more. “Aaah… A-ah!” Her breasts swayed and bounced as her body shook once more, beads of sweat dripping off of them as an arm left the ground to hug her midsection just beneath them. Deeper pain had taken root there, and it was soon clear why; strange sounds, quiet at first before growing in volume, were emanating from her stomach. It truly did feel as though it were writhing and burning within her as squishing noises filled the room, the sounds of her body beginning to change. She could only moan and gasp haltingly, her hands clutching at the floor and her stomach, the pain rocking through her body. All she could do was ride it out and hope that those awful noises and the pain would go away. They didn’t, and things were only going to get worse. A sudden spasm gripped her back, muffled popping joining the sounds coming from her stomach. Her body writhed in time with every pop, each one accompanied by a dagger of red-hot pain, the hand clutching her stomach slamming to the ground as she found herself suddenly needing it just to stop herself from collapsing. When she opened her mouth to cry out, pointed canines were revealed, and already more drastic changes were being torn out of her by the full moon. “Gah!” CRACK. Her sweaty shoulders hunched and her back arched as a violent snap emanated from it. Every muscle went stiff as the unrelenting pain took her, her entire body freezing save for the hot droplets that slid down between her full breasts as they pressed together. It was like she was holding her breath, before another vicious crack sounded out. Several tiny pops followed, her vertebrae showing starkly against her back, her quivering form shaking with soft sobs as her spine began to extend. “Oh god… I’m… dying…” Slender arms quivered and gave away, upper body falling limply to the floor while her rear remained up towards the ceiling, her body straining. Whether for or against this unnatural change, she couldn’t know; the crunching noises never stopped as a naked tail popped its way into existence, dark fur sprouting all over it as it grew to its full length. When it was over, Elizabeth crumpled completely to the ground, rolling onto her side. Every inch of her skin was drenched with sweat, soft breasts bouncing slightly with every labored breath. She propped herself up on one arm, crying softly. That was when she saw the tail. The most intense fear yet gripped her. It would have been better to die than to suddenly understand so clearly what was happening to her. “…N…no…” Already new pains were beginning to mount. With a sob, she clutched at the wall, dragging herself back onto two legs with every scrap of effort she could muster. “I-I’m dreaming… this is a… a… AH!” Her stomach gave another horrid jerk. Claws sprouted from trembling fingers as they clutched the wall, hands clenching as they began to extend with tiny cricks and cracks, fine furs sprouting on the backs of them. Similar hairs were creeping up her back along her spine, mirrored by the line of fur making its way up her flat stomach. Tears flowed freely from eyes that had turned a frightening gold color and burned dully in the moonlight of her darkened apartment. “God… help me…” She begged the heavens breathlessly. She was becoming a thing. Her body pitched, her forehead pressing against the wall. “God help me! Aaaaaa!” She cried, droplets falling from her forehead as another wave of pain took her. Her spine was twitching almost insistently, trying to force her down to all fours. She refused, though her long legs quivered, to fall down like a beast again. She was a woman, not a monster. Her body had other plans. More sickening crunches filled the air as her heels began to slowly extend, her toes pulling inward as claws grew from them. “Noooo!” She groaned stubbornly, digging her claws into the wall and squeezing her eyes shut against the awful pain. She couldn’t fight it; the toned feminine muscles in her legs made wet, soft sounds as they restructured with her bones, her body slowly sinking first to her knees, then to all fours as she cried bitterly. More dark fur sprouted on her thighs and round butt as they burned and crunched. Claws dug into the floor as she let out a long, exhausted scream, her backside losing its soft feminine lines, muscles growing lean and hard. Her lithe body jerked and bucked as her hips made some of the most awful noises yet, losing their curvaceous fullness that made men drool and breaking into the four-legged position of a wolf’s. She could no longer walk on two legs if she tried. “Please… hah… hah… this… this can’t… this can’t…” Beads of perspiration rolled down her still-human upper body, sliding down her tensed back and her hanging breasts, making her short hair stick wetly to her face and the fur on her back and shoulders lay flat against her smooth skin. The breaks never lasted. “God help me!” She shrieked, bosom heaving as her body convulsed uncontrollably. Her slender waist and stomach squelched as she writhed and cried, filling out with hard but light muscle, her ribs starting to press insistently against her skin. Her breasts tightened against her body, new muscles starting to replace their appealing softness with more awful squishes. Nipples appeared along her stomach, but she didn’t notice, for even as they did her chest let out a horrible crunch. A hand that was more a paw pressed into her cleavage as she panted like an animal, her heart pounding so hard that her body shook with it. Slowly, her ribs pressed out against her skin, her chest jutting forward violently. Her big breasts pitched forward one more time, sweat misting off of them, before they began to disappear amidst her ribcage’s agonizing advance. Fur peppered over their round surfaces, filling in as they fade altogether. She felt the fur creeping up her neck, knowing there was only one more place for this change to claim. “Please…” Golden eyes stared up at the moon as fur began to sprout on her cheeks, ears lengthening and pointing. “Not me… Help me… Help me… Ah… Ahhh…” Small crunches began to sound from her face. “No… Ah! Ahhh!” She could feel it in her mind, scratching away at everything she was. She could feel cold hunger filling her mind, could feel herself slipping away as surely as her beautiful body had. She could feel herself dying in the moonlight to make way for something awful that ached for blood, starved and angry. “AHHHH! AHHHHHHH!” She shrieked again and again, unable to stop for the pain, sharp teeth filling her mouth even as it began to wrench out into a jaw. She tried to hold on, but there was nothing to hold on to, feminine features disappearing, her face covering in fur, and everything she was disappearing until the sun rose. The last part of her faded with a mournful howl, the wolf born into the night for the first time. It lifted its wet nose, smelling fresh air from her open window. |
